Our 17-month old Boxer puppy had not really mixed with many dogs before. We wondered how she would go? Jennie was fantastic in the way she introduced her gradually to the other dogs and by the time we left, Tilly was in her element. She was still a bit hesitant about the dam, but on the way home we received a text and video of Tilly splashing around and having the time of her life. What more could we ask for when we go on holidays, that our puppy is well cared for as she makes lots of friends and has a great time. Thanks Jennie, your place is doggy heaven. Tilly is looking forward to joining you again this weekend.
K9 country farm stay is so much more than a boarding facility. The dogs have multiple large areas with toys and swimming holes, they even have bedrooms with real beds for resting in after they are exhausted by all the supervised play which will often turn into a training session by Jennii. It’s like sending your kids to holiday camp where all the activities are included in the fee and they come home better socialised and better trained.
Our 2 dogs love it there, we have no hesitation in recommending your fur babies will too.
Our 8 month old blue cattle dog pup, Gidget, just had 2 weeks with Jennie at K9 Country Farmstay. Gidget had a great time! She enjoyed socialising with the other dogs and was mentally and physically stimulated most of the day which is important for all dogs, but especially working breeds. Gidget loved swimming in the dam, racing around the large property and the countless games of fetch. I felt confident leaving Gidget with Jennie as the farm is safe and secure and Jennie really knows her stuff. Not only was Gidget expertly cared for, Jennie has given us heaps of training advice and suggestions for handling our very active and strong willed girl. Jennie is a qualified vet nurse so knows all about doggy health issues as well as all about ‘quirky’ behaviour habits. She sent several updates throughout the fortnight and even photos of Gidget having cuddles with various human family members who drop by during the day. I highly recommend the farm stay for active and social dogs. Gidget has returned to us happy and exhausted, and will certainly be holidaying at K9 Country Farmstay again. (I think Gidget may have had a better holiday than we did. Haha!)
